A Little About Me
A Little About Me
After high school I trained as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a Home Health Aide and a Personal Care Aide (Technician). I have worked in several local nursing homes as a CNA. Outside of my work in a nursing home, I've done a variety of volunteer work, from working with animals and children to disabled children, as well as some fill in work for my father's Fire Dept. events and the American Legion.
I really enjoy working with kids, and I had some great experiences working in the nursery at my church. I took on the challenge of becoming a CPR & First Aid Instructor to broaden my capabilities, and because I believe that we can all benefit from knowing how to handle basic emergencies.
My experiences as a CNA, HHA & PCA along with my volunteer work, have all given me a unique perspective on human and animal care.
